Underlayment

Underlayment is used to create a moisture and sound barrier between the subfloor and the flooring. We carry three different type of underlayment. Two are for laminate flooring and the third is an underlayment specifically designed to go underneath the SPC flooring.

Basic Blue

The Basic Blue is most commonly sold for flip homes, small areas, or rental properties. This product is a sound and moisture barrier. This product is designed for a project on a budget and still meeting minimum requirements for a laminate installation.

Tekno Sound Supreme

Laminate Underlayment

Tekno Sound Supreme is the most commonly used laminate underlayment for our products. This underlayment is called a 3-in-1. This means it is a sound barrier, moisture barrier, and is antimicrobial.

This underlayment is specifically designed to go underneath SPC flooring. This product helps reduce the sound of the flooring between the subfloor and the flooring itself.
